“Culture” isn’t some HR wagmi bullshit term. It’s the difference between success and failure in any organization. You need to deeply understand this, so first I will define it in detail and then explain how we can use it to win. My definition of culture: the set of behaviors socially encouraged and shunned within a group of people. +Good culture socially rewards positive behavior and shuns bad behavior. -Bad culture allows bad behavior to exist and good behavior goes ignored. Example: If a friend shows up late to an agreed upon time and it has no consequence, the larger group notices and being punctual does not become a part of culture. Being late will become normal. Alternatively if you see people get mad at him, the larger group notices and being punctual becomes a part of culture. One last example, what sport is your country the best at? It’s probably the one that gives you the most status. America celebrates its basketball players, but is indifferent about its rugby players. We dominate in basketball. Bonus, we now attract the best basketball players in the world to play here. Tieing this to Avalanche, we obviously want good culture…. If whining about price does not receive backlash, the average behavior of the group become whining about price. If being a builder does not get you status and praise, Avalanche will not produce or attract great builders (mainly a note to self) If scammers do not get excommunicated from the group, the scamming will continue. (example: Solana is way too accepting of scammers, which hurts them and the whole Industry) You get the idea… With this understanding of culture, it is all of our jobs to create the best culture the industry has ever seen… on Avalanche. -like and engage with any bullpost -support any project your friends launch -show new people around -tell complainers they are losers -drop your account into your friend’s spaces -hold your marketing to a high standard -ask for help -accept failure if the intentions were good -be on time -say something and then do it - etc. If you made it this far in the post, first off thanks, and second off… It will take a village to build this. I’m working hard, but need your help enforcing. I’ll leave you with this… if we succeed and foster a culture of winners and excellence, price will be the least of our concerns🔺
