We’re voting YES to upgrade the protocol to v9.4 ✅
This upgrade strengthens dYdX’s incentive design and trading safety, aligning long-term users, traders, and affiliates under one cohesive framework.
Here’s what it includes:
🟣 Leverage enforcement: Protocol-level checks on orders, updates, and withdrawals to prevent unsafe positions.
🟣 Staking-based fee tiers: Lower trading fees for users who stake $DYDX, directly linking participation to rewards.
🟣 Market-specific discounts: Dynamic fee adjustments to support activity in key markets.
🟣 Refined affiliate program: Removal of the whitelist, capped referral rewards, and improved fairness for contributors.
🟣 Integrated commissions: Tier and referrer fees now reflected directly in the effective rate.
🟣 Improved data accuracy: Fixes to staking metrics and TWAP logic for more consistent analytics.
This is a major step toward safer trading, fairer incentives, and more consistent fee logic across the dYdX Chain.
