We want to take a moment to address the current liquidity provisioning (LP) situation and offer some transparency around our decisions, expectations, and the broader vision we’re building toward together. First off, you may have noticed a small LP addition into Catswap recently. This wasn’t done lightly or without consideration—it was a deliberate gesture. A show of good faith to the builders currently active on BRC2.0 and to those who’ve remained committed through this crucial experimental phase. That said, we want to be very clear: we are not comfortable allocating the full LP into Catswap at this time. While we respect the efforts behind Catswap and the work being done by its developers, we have to be honest—it’s not reflective of the long-term vision we have for BRC2.0. The swap experience, as it currently stands, is clunky. UX is minimal, liquidity routing is inefficient, and it lacks the composability and execution efficiency that we believe will be unlocked once the smart AMM (automated market maker) layer is fully realized. What we’re building toward with BRC2.0 is not a patchwork of functionality—it’s a true evolution, and we're simply not there yet. We fully expected this to progress faster. We had hoped that by now we’d be closer to the final iteration of the smart AMM. But, as with all meaningful innovations—especially on Bitcoin—good things take time. And BRC2.0 is without question one of the most ambitious and innovative developments we’ve ever seen on the Bitcoin standard. We’re not just building another trading interface—we’re participating in a complete transformation of what decentralized finance on Bitcoin can look like. That’s not something we’re willing to rush. In the meantime, we encourage everyone to take a step back and appreciate the foundations that have already proven themselves. The success of BRCs on @UniSat_comm and @bestinslotxyz via orderbook-style trading can’t be overstated. Those mechanisms provided an incredible launchpad for the current meta and proved that organic community-driven growth is alive and well—even without fancy UI or instant swaps. We truly hope the community can remain patient and adaptable as we continue along this journey. We understand it’s not always convenient. But the future we’re building toward is worth the wait. And to be absolutely clear—because we know questions around this will continue to surface—the treasury is not moving. It is not being deployed in full to any stopgap solution. That capital has one purpose: to seed liquidity into the final, production-ready, BRC2.0-native smart AMM, once it is live, secure, and battle-tested. Not before. We're here for the long game. This isn’t about chasing temporary highs or appeasing short-term sentiment. This is about cementing BRC2.0 as a true next-gen standard for Bitcoin-based assets. If you're in this space looking for overnight wins, we understand—but that’s not what this build is about. This is for the builders, the visionaries, and the community members who see where this is going and are willing to hold the line until we get there.
