Basic info for token holders/buyers
@coingecko can you finally add a better KPI than mcap, fdv that shows dilution, how many tokens come to market in 1m, 6m, 3y;
and add liquidity metrics too as token a & b with same mcap are not equal & buyers lose on purchase or can't exit👍
I am growing more and more wary of using market cap as a way of evaluating a project’s value… I feel like there needs to be some new composite score/metric that can be derived from market cap, liq ratio and a coin’s ability to move in price.
Memes from ape store, 4meme etc, pale in liquidity to clankers with a quarter of the market cap.
No progress in this regard shows industry focus: for a 1min trader, fdv isn't important and you'll likely check the liquidity for each of your trades. but as a more long-minded investor these are important factors to consider.
PS: not every project needs deep onchain liquidity
